Stay Updated

It’s easy to stay updated on the most recent additions to The Darling Budds. Here are a bunch of different ways to be alerted whenever a new episode is posted:

RSS
RSS feed for The Darling Budds
RSS sounds like something complicated, but it’s really just a simple way to have updates from your favorite websites sent to you automatically. This video does a good job of explaining what RSS is all about. To take advantage of RSS feeds, you’ll need a feed reader…I really like the free Google Reader. Once you’re all set up, just click here to start getting automatic updates sent to your feed reader.

Email Updates
Subscribe to The Darling Budds by Email
Whenever the book’s updated, a short email is sent out to people who’ve signed up for the Darling Budds notification list. If you’d like to be added to the list, click here. The only time you’ll ever be sent mail is when a new installment of the book is uploaded, I promise, and I’ll never share your address with anyone.

Facebook

Another way to stay in touch with what’s going on with the story and whatnot is the Facebook page. Just “Like” the site on Facebook and get notified when new chapters get posted. There’s other stuff on the page beyond just site updates, though, including photo albums of behind-the-scenes images never posted anywhere else.

Twitter

I’ve also created a Twitter stream to help readers stay on top of updates to The Darling Budds and all the connected sites. Just follow @thedarlingbudds to get updated a few times a week about what’s going on with The Darling Budds.

Tumblr
The Darling Budds: Swipe File
There’s a Tumblr associated with the Darling Budds, featuring images that have inspired me as I work on the book. Whenever I put up a new episode of the book, I post a short note about it on the Tumblr. So, if you “follow” the Swipe File on Tumblr, you’ll be notified whenever a new episode is added to the book.

Just Visit The Site A Lot And See If It’s Updated
C’mon…this is 2012, there are so many better ways to stay in touch with the site. Do you also churn your own butter?
